How Your GP Can Help Your Family If you have recently moved to a new area with your family, you may not think it is that important to register with a local GP clinic. However, registering with your local medical centre is very important. A family doctor can help you and your loved ones in a number of ways. If you are unwell, they will prescribe medication. If you have a medical complaint which needs further treatment or assessment, they will refer you to the local hospital so you can see a specialist. When I moved to a new town, I was lucky enough to find an excellent GP who has looked after my family. I decided to start this blog to talk about the things I have learnt and to encourage others to register with a doctor.
